Alliance of Indiana Rural Water to roll out NexbillpayⓇ for their members

The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water has chosen NexbillpayⓇ  as the solution of choice for its members.

Nexbillpay’s payment software is utilized by utility companies to provide customers with a variety of convenient payment options, the ability to access their account information, and a chance to enroll in a variety of different types of notifications related to their accounts. The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water membership will now be able to set up autopay, text to pay, automated pay by phone, and receive upcoming payment notifications.

Connie Stevens, Executive Director for The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water, says: “We are always looking for ways to help our members save time and money while running a top-notch utility. Nexbillpay has been successful in providing a safe, simple, and affordable solution for their customers and our members to pay their utility bills online, by text message and by phone, 24/7. Nexbillpay’s unique and neutral payment software integration module gives our members an essential choice in a payment partner.”

Chase Elmore, Vice President at Nexbillpay, states: “We have found it to be such a rewarding relationship working with organizations like the AIRW and their members, and we are very fortunate to call them a partner. Our goals are simple in that we provide the very best payment technology, and just as important; we support that technology specifically for the rural water industry. Having the AIRW’s support, and confidence makes our objectives and purpose align perfectly.”

Historically, rural utility companies had few options to offer flexible payment options because of the high costs associated with other software portals. Nexbillpay utility customers in rural communities can now make payments without mailing a check or coming in person to the utilities’ office to pay in person with only check or cash.

Nexbillpay utility customers can still speak to a customer service representative whenever they want. However, the payment software they offer – accessible on both desktop and mobile devices – often gives the customers all the answers they need, eliminating the need for many phone calls and questions previously only handled by phone or in person.
